When Kitty’s Purrfect Spa was founded in 2013, Deborah’s vision was to help all kitties to be as happy and healthy as possible while keeping them as an active family member. When cats shed, they leave hair all over the furniture, floors, clothes, table, in food… “Hair Hair Everywhere” as we like to say. With all that hair, Kitty cannot be as involved with family events as she could be with regular grooming. We believe felines that are professionally groomed every 3-8 weeks are happier, healthier and enjoy family life more than cats who are randomly groomed or never professionally groomed. Kitty’s Purrfect Spa only accepts new clients who seek to provide the highest quality of life for their cat companions.

Kitty’s Purrfect Spa’s first regular maintenance plan addressed this exact issue! Shedding and furballs. Interestingly enough, this regular maintenance plan also helps with human allergies! We call it Catterrific Cat, it is a set of 5 grooms that includes our full bath and deshed packages. With this program, you will see a dramatic reduction in the amount of fur and hairballs you find around your home. This program lasts between 4 and 6 months depending on the cat’s needs and owner’s preferences.

Unfortunately, we are usually called in when a cat is matted to the skin. We ABSOLUTELY will come in and help you. However, we are not an “aspirin.” Kitty’s Purrfect Spa feels obligated to your feline to prevent the matting from reoccurring. There are two options, we teach you how to care for your Kitty, or we provide the needed care. Our second maintenance program is called Purrfect Pouncer and includes a one-time shave down with pelt removal then four additional bathing sessions. Beginning at the third visit, we will teach you how to take the steps you need to prevent your beloved cat from ending up a pelted mess in the future. 

We have a kitten program for cats under 6 months to get them started in the right direction.

Kitty’s Purrfect Spa has a Lion Cut and four baths for the Kitty who is not matted to the skin. 

After one of the initial startup programs, if you are satisfied and would like to continue service with Kitty’s Purrfect Spa, you are moved to the Spiffy Kitty Plan. This is an annual grooming plan that keeps your Kitty looking and feeling their best year round.

Payments

We believe regular maintenance grooming should be affordable. A small discount is included in most of our plans. We offer several options for payment. Payment in full is always appreciated. However, depending on the program you select, payments are broken up over 4, 6, 8 or 12 months with no additional charges. 

How does this all work?

We come into your home and groom your cat for the first time. 

At the end of that groom, we tell you if your cat is a candidate for regular grooming. 

If your cat is a candidate for regular maintenance grooming, there is no pressure. We give you the regular maintenance grooming options that best fits your cat’s and your family’s needs. If regular grooming is not for you, it isn’t a big deal. There is absolutely no pressure. 

After the first groom, if regular maintenance grooming is not something you are interested in, it is Kitty’s Purrfect Spa’s policy not to groom your kitty again. 

We put this policy into place because too often we come in, take care of a cat, then don’t see that Kitty for a year or two. When we are called back to groom that cat, it is in no better condition than the first time we saw the cat. Usually the cat is matted to the skin. This causes great undo emotional stress on our staff.  

We firmly believe professional grooming goes hand in hand with regular veterinarian care. If you are not interested in keeping your feline family members in the best physical, mental and spiritual condition possible, we are not the grooming company for you.

Six Months (5 Grooms) is a long commitment

Yes, Kitty’s Purrfect Spa understands it is hard to make a commitment for six months on something you are not sure of. First, Kitty’s Purrfect Spa has been servicing Santa Clarita since 2013. We have a large number of clients who believe this is the best way to care for their beloved feline. 

You are not required to make a commitment until the completion of your first groom. Some cats are not candidates for regular grooming and some environments are just not ideal for regular grooming. At the completion of the first appointment, you can elect to continue service with Kitty’s Purrfect Spa, or next time you need cat grooming, to choose a different business. 

We guarantee, there is no pressure. We present the facts and you can take it or leave it. 

What if my Kitty isn’t here in six months? Kitty’s Purrfect Spa will evaluate the situation and make a fair and honorable decision on how to proceed.
