We LOVE Kitties! We want them to feel their very best at all times!
We also want regular maintenance grooming to be accessible and affordable to families with active lifestyles and on a fixed income. In order to fix these problems, Kitty’s Purrfect Spa has developed different programs.
Purchasing a program benefits your family in multiple ways:
- Each program gives you a discount on your grooming services!
- Your price is locked as long as you keep your program current! No laps, no price increases!
- You can pay a small amount monthly with no finance charges! A credit card is collected and billed on the first of the month. Payments are spread out over 6 to 12 months depending on your program.
- OR you can pay up front in full so you never have to worry about money on grooming days.
- You can set your schedule each fall for the coming calendar year, or you can schedule your appointments one at a time. Pre Booking a year in advance guarantees you get the day and time you prefer.

Catterrific Cat
Catterrific Cat is our most popular program! This program keeps your Kitty in full coat while removing the dead coat and dander that causes issues for the cat and the humans who love the cat!
The Catterrific Cat is for the family who CAN NOT stand cat hair on their clothes, furniture, etc. 48 hours after the first visit you will see a dramatic reduction of cat hair in your home.
Catterrific Cat also helps humans who have allergies! Clients notice a huge reduction in headaches, sneezing and wheezing when Kitty is on Catterrific Cat. Cowboy’s Mom felt better after the first visit, Mr. Woods’ Dad feels worse when we go an extra week between grooms. Saeed’s Teenage Owner’s headaches are much less frequent and the intensity has diminished since he began Catterrific Cat.
This program is also for the feline who has hairball issues. When a cat licks, the dead coat is ingested. That coat has three options 1) expelled out of the body by vomiting 2) pushed out of the body in waste 3) create a blockage in the digestive system. The less coat the feline is ingesting, the healthier the Kitty! Mich, Riley, Buster, Momma, Spencer, plus many others are on this program to control furballs! It works! Please note, since furballs are dead coat packed in the stomach, it may take over a year to get out all the coat that is in the stomach when we begin this program. The good news is, NO MORE hair is going into the feline. Once the digestive tract resolves itself, you will see a dramatic reduction in furballs.
How does Catterrific Cat work? It is the most flexible of all our programs. It is a package of 5 bath and combs (Paw-di-cure, warm water massage with degreaser in the bath, facial, ear cleaning, room temperature drying, and a comb out. are always included) PLUS a suction deshed.
Kitty has their first groom, then four weeks later their second groom, then six weeks later their third groom. Then the family decides what works best for them. Some move to eight weeks, some stay at six, and others go back to four weeks. Many families feel their house operates best on a 4 to 6 week schedule, however, the schedule on this program is trial and error. This is a one-time starter program to establish the needs of Kitty and Humans. After this program, Kitty will be moved to the Spiffy Kitty program.
On Catterrific Cat the family notices a DRAMATIC reduction in shedding and hairballs.

Purrfect Pouncer
Purrfect Pouncer, otherwise known as the oops program! This program is for the family that got too busy to notice there were hard lumps of dead coat on Kitty. This program is for the family that tried their best, and do not understand why or what happened. This is for the family that knows it is bad and has no idea how to fix it. Or the family that tried to fix it and made it worse.
This is an EDUCATIONAL program that will teach you how to prevent this from reoccurring. Nail trimming and brushing are taught if the owners are interested. Diet, environment, and genetics are also discussed as options for solving this problem.
At our first appointment, we come in and shave down Kitty. There is no way to humanely save a coat like this. The good news is, your Kitty will get a fresh start at growing a new, clean coat! If your Kitty has hard lumps like the ones below, shaving is the only option. We work at your Cat’s speed. If you can not slide your fingers between the lumps and the skin, your skin is what groomers call pelted.
This first appointment will take hours. Many times the skin is pulled and sometimes twisted into the mats. The legs are usually bound to the body. Be assured, if your Kitty is exhibiting signs of stress, the grooming stops immediately. This rarely happens. Most the time, Kitty almost immediately knows Deborah is there to help and they try their best to relax and let the process happen.
A pelted cat is a higher risk groom, especially if they are skinny, older or have medical issues. Deborah has removed many pelts from skinny Kitty’s over 15 years old, NOT ONE has had to seek medical attention. Deborah is VERY good at this kind of work. It is where her heart is. Improving the lives of kitties that are being held hostage by their coats is her passion.
Some owners believe their Kitty would need to be medicated for this kind of job. Please note, Kitty’s Purrfect Spa will NEVER groom a cat on medication just for grooming. We do not believe it is safe. If your Kitty needs medication to be groomed, we suggest having your vet do the grooming in their office. Deborah has groomed over 3000 cats from all backgrounds, temperaments and environments. Her rule of thumb is, IF all the adults in the home can hold the cat, she can groom it.
After the first appointment is over, things get much better almost instantly! Your Kitty will walk better, begin jumping again, become more social, and more active. Kitty’s Purrfect Spa always gives you an itemized receipt. It is our goal to always write “no nicks, cuts or scratches”, however, if something does not go as planned we not only show you but document it on your receipt. We are FULLY insured, and take FULL responsibility for any damage we cause during the grooming process. That said, After 3000, we have not caused any injury that needed veterinary care.
Your second appointment will occur at 8 weeks. It is important that we rush in, give Kitty a bath, then spend time visiting with you. Remember, Kitty’s last visit was not “fun” for anyone. Visit 2, Kitty’s Purrfect Spa needs to gain Kitty’s trust and help Kitty understand things will only get better from here.
Visit two is a time to gather information. Deborah is usually able to tell you why Kitty Matted in the first place, and what steps need to be taken to prevent matting in the future.
Visit three, four and five are all about teaching you how to care for Kitty in a way to prevent matting in the future. If you are interested, I will give you a nail trim and brushing lesson. I will also cover any other issues that may be leading to Kitty’s poor coat condition such as environment, diet, kitty litter, etc. These visits are spaced out due to Kitty’s skin and coat condition. It is difficult to estimate the length of time between these visits. Some cats go up to 10 weeks then 12 weeks. Other cats go down to 6 weeks then 4 weeks. It will completely depend on Kitty’s skin and coat needs.
This is a one-time starter program to establish the needs of the Kitty and Humans. After this program, Kitty will be moved to the Spiffy Kitty program, which will reduce your grooming costs.
The bottom line:
Regular Cost of first groom = $215 ($140 for the lion cut plus $75 for the time and skill it takes to remove the pelt)
Regular total for 4 Bath and Comb grooms =$480
Regular total for all 5 grooms = $695

Due to the cost and desperate need of the Kitty, We can divide the cost over 6 or 8 months to make it more affordable for your family.

Spiffy Kitty
Now the fun begins! Spiffy Kitty is the annual program you move to after Catterrific Cat or Purrfect Pouncer. The beginner programs showed you what you needed, now you can get what you want!
Spiffy Kitty is a way to pay for your Bath and Comb sessions at 4, 6, 8 or 12 weeks apart. You can add any additional services to the beginning of your contract or as needed.
If you do choose to pick a time frame larger than Kitty’s Purrfect Spa recommends matting, pelting, and fecal removal fees may apply.
Families that have Kitty on a longer schedule enjoy the budget friend option of monthly payments, while the 4 and 6 week families appreciate the discount.

My Cat cannot be groomed for medical reasons?
A total will be calculated with the services received, including the discount. Any money overpaid by you will be returned within 48 hours via the payment method on file. If your account has a balance, it will be due at your convenience.

Kitty's Purrfect Spa is not a good match for our family?
A total will be calculated with the services received at full price. Any money overpaid by you will be returned within 48 via payment method. Any money owed to Kitty’s Purrfect Spa will be sent a Square Invoice and due within 48 hours. If your account has a balance, it will be due at your convenience.
Kitty's Purrfect Spa decides our Kitty is not a good match for their service?
A total will be calculated with the services received, including the discount. Any money over paid by you will be returned within 48 hours via payment method.
We pay for a program but we do not use it in the time advertised?
As long as your cat is mat free at each appointment, the time frame is just a guideline. If there is matting because the appointments had to be spaced farther out due to your family’s schedule extra fees may apply. Matting, Pelting, Fecal Removal, etc.
How do we know Kitty's Purrfect Spa will do the work contracted to do?
We hope our reputation proceeds us. However, if you are new to the area, we are happy to provide a list of references. Deborah has made it her number one priority to run a legitimate business from day one. We opened in June 2013. Please visit our Facebook page, read the testimonials on our website, and ask your vet! We do have over a 95% on time arrival rate, we document everything on your itemized receipt, we leave your home cleaner than we found it. We hope these little things will add to your belief in our character.
