De-shedding with Suction $20
This option really helps with the amount of dead fur in your house. The reduction in dead coat seems to help with human allergy symptoms and fur balls. The fur on the left was combed out of this cat, the fur on the right was removed with suction deshed. These results are typical on cats groomed less than every 4 months.
Matting
Matting is when dead hair gets tangled in the growing hair. Matting can be a life threatening condition for your Feline. Kitty’s Purrfect Spa will work with you to prevent matting from reoccurring. These are one time fees. Kitty’s Purrfect Spa will not remove Mats or Pelts more than once from a feline. Mat removal is an extremely painful process for your feline’s delicate skin. In extreme cases, the skin becomes twisted up in the mat, then an additional fee is incurred.
Mat Removal- $50
Pelt Removal - $75

Substance in Coat that Clogs Clippers - $40
This cat had: Lion Cut $140 + Pelt Removal $75 + Skin in Pelt $50 = $290. The service took over four hours. This price reflects the training the Groomer has, wear and tear on the equipment (clipping one hair at a time), plus the emotional and physical stress a Kitty in this condition places on the groomers.
Elderly and Special Needs Kitties $40
These kitties need extra time, love and attention. These kitties often have growths on their skin, requiring extra attention while brushing or shaving. They also may have arthritis making joint movement more restrictive resulting in extra drying time. There are a variety of other concerns these kitties have making the grooming process more time and labor intensive to ensure a positive grooming experience. In order to allow this extra TLC time, a fee will apply.
Kitty is Unavailable When Groomer is Set Up
Please round up your Kitty and leave Kitty in a small room that will not be used for the grooming session half an hour before your appointment. It will be less stressful on you, while showing respect for Kitty’s Purrfect Spa, and saving you money!
We pride ourselves on giving clients an exact arrival time and meeting that time over a 95% of the time. Once an appointment is scheduled, Kitty’s Purrfect Spa views it as a contract for the work requested. As such, Kitty’s Purrfect Spa schedules time and employees to meet the job contracted for. When Kitty can not be found when Kitty’s Purrfect Spa is set up and ready to groom, it causes the groomer to rush your groom and makes us break our on time promise to our following clients.
Kitty Round Up Fee $20+
Some cats hide when they know they’re about to be groomed! If we have to find your cat, we charge $20 plus an additional $20 for every 10 minutes we spend looking for or retrieving your cat.
Kitty Waiting Fee $20+
If Kitty is not ready when we are set up and ready, a $20 waiting fee per 5 minutes is charged. Kitty’s Purrfect Spa suggests placing Kitty in a small room not being used for grooming half an hour before your appointment time.
Parasite and Fungi Surcharge $100
Kitty’s Purrfect Spa is an “in home” grooming service that believes in regular maintenance grooming. That means we prevent problems before they start. We bring all our equipment into your home. During grooming sessions, our canvas bag often lies on carpets and our equipment recirculates air, debris and parasites. These factors make it very easy for Kitty’s Purrfect Spa to pick up “hitchhikers” such as fleas and ringworm. If we find fleas or suspect ringworm on your feline, we will charge an $100 surcharge.
This surcharge covers the time and product to insure we do not transport parasites or fungi to other homes. It does not cover treatment of your feline or your home or the cancellations of other clients while our equipment is sanitized.
Please, if you believe your cat has a parasite or fungus, take your cat to your veterinarian for treatment. If you suspect parasites, have your feline groomed in a salon environment where employees can contain and assist you in managing fleas.
Extreme Biter Fee $40
The owner will be notified in advance if the extreme biter fee will be applied to your groom. Typically, the first groom with Kitty’s Purrfect Spa will not incur this fee. The owner will be informed, if kitty acts the same way for the next groom the fee will be applied. In some cases, this fee will be applied to the first groom after the owner is informed of the fee.
Nail Trim only $20
This is for cats in your home that do not receive a full groom during your scheduled visit.
If you are requesting Kitty’s Purrfect Spa to travel to your home for Nail Trims Only, our minimum visit fee is $120
Emergency (Same Week) Grooming Fee $40
When available, Kitty’s Purrfect Spa will honor same week appointment requests at $40 per cat. House Call Grooming is a specialty service. In order to assure our regular clients a quality experience including an exact arrival time, detailed receipts, staff to meet your exact needs, having the emotional and spiritual needs to meet your cats needs, the physical strength needed for each cat and much more goes into planning for each and every grooming session.
Traveling Fees
We occasionally travel outside of Santa Clarita for House Call Grooming.
Upon your request, we will investigate the legal requirements for conducting business in your area. Any area out of The Santa Clarita Valley will have a traveling fee added to the price of the groom. If we agree to service your area, your travel fee is computed by using a map app to find the distance from 23890 Copper Hill Drive, Valencia, CA 91350 to your address. Multiply the number of miles (one way) by $5 to compute your total traveling fee.
Please note, we do not currently travel south of the interstate 5/14 interchange.
All travel fees are non-refundable and due at the time of booking your appointment. An invoice will be emailed to you through Square.
Cancel Service Fee $100 per Cat
Kitty’s Purrfect Spa requires 48 hour notice of all cancellations. Cancellations made under 48 hours of your scheduled appointment will be charged a $100 cancellation fee per cat. Upon cancellation, an invoice will be emailed to you through Square and will be due immediately. More than two cancellations or reschedules will require a prepaid, non-refundable deposit of $120 prior to scheduling your following appointment. Which will be payable by an invoice sent through Square.
Program clients will be required to pay the $120 reservation fee. The fee will be refunded at your next appointment. Remember, your program/contract is for a specific number of weeks between grooms. If you do not keep to the agreed upon schedule, your program price will increase.
No Show Fee $120 per cat
We take appointments very seriously. When you schedule an appointment, we see it as a contract for work. If Kitty’s Purrfect Spa arrives at your home, intending to perform the services you requested, and no one is home ten minutes after the start of your appointment time, $120 will be charged immediately through an invoice sent using Square. Additionally, all future visits must be prepaid (non refundable) by a square invoice.
