Elderly and Special Needs Kitties
These kitties need extra special care. Kitty may have lost a limb or vision, have diabetes or Kidney concerns, or is just “Grey in the Whisker”. Kitty’s Purrfect Spa specializes in caring for these felines and their beloved humans!
Special Needs Kitties
Special needs are our specialty. Maybe Kitty has medical issues such as diabetes, arthritis, heart problems, or physical issues such as loss of limb, loss of eye or paralysis, or psychological issues such as abandonment, trust or phobias. Kitty’s Purrfect Spa has been trained and has experience in making grooming easier for these special felines.
Elderly Kitties
As felines age their skin becomes loose and thin. Many times elderly kitties have undiagnosed medical conditions. Like humans, they also may have aches and pains which can make them grumpy. Kitty’s Purrfect Spa comes to your home and offers an extra gentle touch while monitoring for signs of stress. Occasionally these kitties take multiple visits to complete a groom. No additional fee is charged for multiple visits.
End of Life Kitties
If Kitty is 5 or 23 we are here to make Kitty feel better within the parameters the human family provides. Sadly, a number of our clients are no longer with us. Thankfully, we were able to help their humans as the end drew near. These services are based on the owner’s needs and are charged by time spent in the home. “Butt Baths” and removing mats that join limbs to the body are the most common services.
