CFMG? Certified Feline Master Groomer, which means Deborah Hansen has attended the National Cat Grooming Institute, INC (NCGI) in Greenville, South Carolina for two full weeks and passed all her exams. NCGI is NOT a happy go lucky place where everyone who plops down money passes.  NCGI is an intense two-week cat school.  You will often hear Deborah speak of how NCGI was harder than her Master’s degree.  While at NCGI, she studied and passed written, oral and practical exams in her ability to safely handle and groom cats to the highest allowable standard due to the temperament of the individual feline.  This education tested her to a show quality standard of feline breeds, colors, coat types, temperaments, anatomy, common health issues, grooming elements, handling techniques and more.  She proudly fought to earn her title of CFMG. Worldwide, there are approximately 200 individuals that hold the title CFMG.

CFCG? Certified Feline Creative Groomer, which means Deborah has passed a practical examination on the proper methods of temporary and semi permanent coloring, carving designs in feline coats, handling techniques, and much much more! This means all products Kitty’s Purrfect Spa uses are 100% safe on felines and approved by The National Cat Grooming Institute and The National Association of Professional Creative Groomers.
